The fourth installment of the John Wick Series is currently in post-production, and a new trailer first released at the 2022 Comic Con, is now available to the public. For the series that started with a retired assassin simply trying to live in peace, and a past world that refuses to let him do so, the action seems to keep on coming with each new story.
John Wick (Keanu Reeves), had spent the last film (John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum) largely on the run, after executing a rival in The Continental hotel, in violation of sanctuary rules. With a $14 million bounty on his head, Wick’s desperate search for clemency took him from Manhattan to Casablanca, leaving the bodies of his hunters in his wake.
The film will most likely follow Wick on his new mission. To mount a rebellion against The High Table, the highest authority in the world of Assassins, from which he came. It is a near insurmountable task, and so the action, suspense, and intensity that the films have been able to deliver so far, should easily be expected if not surpassed.
John Wick Chapter 4, directed by Chad Stahelski, is set for a theatrical U.S. release on March 24, 2023.
